Our online Barracuda shocks disclaimer stated that mechanical shocks do not perform and are not intended to perform like the air shocks that you had on your GL1200. Mechanical shocks use a gas and oil hydraulic piston that requires enormous force to compress.

On the other hand, air shocks use a hydraulic piston and an air chamber that serves to slow or soften the shocks damping or return to position.

We will accept a return but there will be a 25% restock fee if the shocks are not found to be defective. Please review the Return and Exchange section of our Sales Policies.
