Declined credit card transactions will automatically put a temporary hold on your available credit for the order total. This is the normal credit card process.
The hold is part of the pre-authorization process to maintain the most up to date available credit amount. The hold is in place for two days until the transactions are settled at which time the money actually changes hands. For every decline, there will be an automatic hold but it will drop off after settlement.
